Hello and welcome!

I'm Marcia, the founder of METpause, a business driven by a passion for creating nightwear for night sweats.

Our mission is to transform the sleep experience for those facing the challenges of night sweats. We design comfortable, moisture-wicking nightwear that promotes better sleep, supporting both physical comfort and emotional well-being.

The Journey that led me to METpause

In 2020 I thought I had a fever and was convinced it was ‘Covid’ but, little did I know, it was the start of my  journey…hello perimenopause!

My first 18 months of perimenopause was traumatic. I suffered with a wide spectrum of symptoms from relentless night sweats and hot flushes to brain fog, irregular periods, joint pains, insomnia, dizziness and the list goes on and on and on. Sound familiar?

For the past three years, I’ve been driven by a dream to help others manage the discomfort of night sweats. This passion has led me to create nightwear made from soft, breathable bamboo fabric, designed to bring comfort and relief to those in need.

I founded METpause with a clear purpose to create a nightwear line specially designed to address the discomfort of night sweats and transform the way people experience sleep.

Our collection features a range of nightdresses and short pyjama sets, all proudly made in the UK. Each piece is made from premium bamboo fabric, known for its softness, breathability, and moisture-wicking properties, offering comfort throughout the night.

Another key feature of this range is the fabric’s gentle stretch, which contours beautifully to your body for a flattering and comfortable fit. It moves effortlessly with your movements, providing the flexibility and ease you need to truly relax and unwind without any restrictions.

While I may not be able to prevent night sweats and hot flushes, my hope is that my nightwear helps ease discomfort by enhancing the quality of your sleep and positively contributing to your overall well-being and comfort.
